My First speech as an FSA was at THE DOT, which was held at Gandhigram University, Chinnalapatti, Madurai. It was a one-day event. Seshan , my good friend and an FSA, planned and organized the event. There were 24 participants from other colleges in Madurai. The event went on as THREE parts.

I had a great opportunity to talk about Mozila and Webmaker tools in the morning. The participants were shown a demo to use Webmaker tools such as TIMBLE and X-Ray GOGGLES.These tools were used extensively in the evening session.
My session went on around 2 hours, after which session on Build Box by Seshan. Buildbox session lasted for about 2 hours. The participants eagerly participated and learnt to handle the game creation tool.
Then after the lunch, Prasanna Vijayan, from Google Developers Group Madurai, started his session on Github. The participants were given a clear picture of the version control system. They were also provided the installable files of github. Then a folder containing all the files of a PORTFLIO website was provided. They were asked to modify the website. Unlike traditional method of using NOTEPAD++, The participants used X-RAY GOGGLES.

Then the modified sites was uploaded using github and as a result every participants got a single page website about themselves!!! There were discussions and quiz sessions which were fun filled and added smoothness to the flow of the event.
